This tungsten carbide bur is also great for finishing composite on buccal and cervical areas. It features a non end cutting tip which makes finishing along the gingival margin cleaner and avoids inadvertent gouging. It can also be used for shaping line angles of your anterior restorations. This bur leaves a smooth surface ready which then simply needs to be polished with your polisher of choice. It is also used for other DRE techniques including adjusting tooth surface irregularities.concavities as well as creating access windows for improved visibility.
