1. Select appropriate (large or small) Butterfly Matrix.
2. Gently insert “wedge” side into gingival embrasure.
3. Allow wings to expand and hold the matrix against adjacent tooth surfaces.
4. Place composite material and cure through the transparent matrix.
5. Remove gently by pulling wings or trimming if needed.
