The Brass band retains its shape after burnishing. No bounce back. This makes the Brass band ideal for sculpting emergence contours, closing black triangles, diastemas and wide posterior embrasures. It is also suited for those who are not comfortable with contact openings as contact areas can easily be burnished using a rosehead bur and slow handpiece.
